1. OVERVIEW
Bariatric surgery can be one of the most common causes of over eating or overweight. Morbid obesity is when a person has extreme amounts of excess body fat and a body mass index or BMI greater than 35. Hence regarded as surgical emergency. Hence there is a risk of Heart disease and stroke, high blood pressure and Nonalcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD) or nonalcoholic steatohepatitis (NASH), Sleep apnea, Type 2 diabetes.
